Thanksgiving

This weekend for Turkey day we went to Weiser to spend some time with the old folks... In the morning Dad and I went and played some football at the park, then we went to Erhards for the great feast... After that we went and did a little shootin. At the end of the day they renamed me "Shooter Magavin" and Kate....Well, lets just say that we should never let her loose with a gun...

We had some great settlers games and really enjoyed the time with the fam.

This year i decided not to be a Grinch, so we decided to get a head start on our decorating! It took a while to decide on what we wanted our tree to look like but we finally picked blue and silver. I even let DJ start listening to Christmas music a week ago so he could start getting in the Christmas spirit!

McCall

We spent the 4th of July up in McCall this year. It was a long and short trip, we left from Provo around 8:00 pm and arrived in McCall at 4:00 a.m. on the 4th... We then spent the whole day swimming, kayaking, laying out on the beach and spending time with the fam. What a great day! The next morning we got up around 5:45 and went wakeboarding only to find the water to be choppy.... and then drove back to Utah at 7:30 a.m. to make it back for work... Fun but short. It was so good to see the family though...

Hey...Suprise, Suprise, PUPPY SUPRISE!!! How many puppys are we gonna find inside!

This Sunday we went to a park behind our apartment complex and played a little Croquet. We all had a really good time. It has been such a treat to have Paige down here with us for the last little while. We are going to miss her tons when she decides to retire at Jamba Juice, and move to McCall.

Last night we were playing cards and Paige snapped a shot of Kate while she was celebrating our victory in Canasta over Paige and Kevin... Yep.. Thats my wife. Dont know how long this picture will be up for before Kate looks on and gets mad! So enjoy.

Bowling...

This week was a fun one...On monday we went bowling with the office... They call me King Pin. aka, the master bowler... Katelyn's fastest ball went about 6 mph. The 6 year old's bowling ball who was bowling next to us would beat Katelyn's ball down. Paige...stinks at bowling.... thats all I have to say about that. Except that she beat me once...

Moving...

Life in Provo has been a little busy for Kate and I for the last couple of weeks! Finals are done and out of the way, we are just settling in to our new place in Orem, and now we are starting the selling season. Kate has retired from taking care of her "old man", which is a bitter-sweet for her, and has turned a lot more of her attention to the salon. As for me, I am spending most of my time training guys in the office and knocking doors. Fun stuff huh?!

Happily Ever After

August 26th, 2006 we were married at the Salt Lake Temple in Salt Lake. It's actually quite interesting how Katelyn and I met. It all started one afternoon when I was waiting tables at Pizza Factory. When all of a sudden BJ, my roommate, who worked at Pizza Factory as well sat two lovely girls at my table and while walking off told me to get their numbers. I went and took their order, (Small Alfredo chicken pizza, 2 breadtwists, and 2 waters) and went about my business waiting other tables. While waiting, I noticed the shorter one of the two looking my way, we caught eyes and then she quickly turned and started talking to her friend again. Well, it was time for their bill and I still hadn't started a conversation yet. With BJ continually nudging me in the side, the pressure was on. I had to make a move quick or it would be to late! So while taking them their bill I saw that they had only eaten 1 piece of pizza between the both of them. "Big eaters" I said, quickly kicking myself right after I realized how stupid my opening line was.

A few giggles from the girls broke the ice a little more and we started talking. After a quick synopsis we found out that we both lived at Raintree apt. and were in the same ward! This sent a red flag for me because I had been going to church every week and I knew all the potential dating material in the ward and there is no way I would have missed this one!!

"Was she inactive?" I thought to myself..."Must be.." It looks like I have some fellowshipping to do, and me being the missionary that I am went to her house the following Sunday to invite her and her roommates to Ward Prayer... It was all down hill from there folks...I found out later that she wasn't inactive, she is from Layton, UT and would just go back every weekend to visit. That my friends is the start of our relationship.
