Owen, Hallie, and Preston (Owen's friend) had a blast at Hee Haw Farms. The boys loved the "corn box" aka: sandbox. I thought this was the best idea ever! Hallie loved the horse swings. I could have left her on them the entire time!

What we have been up to...

Life has been super crazy! I feel like we have fallen off the face of the planet. I used to be so good with keeping in touch with people but not anymore and this is why...
DJ is still working full time at Mozy and is in school full time and between those 2 things and his church calling we hardly see each other! For me.. Relief Society President has been so good but so tiring! I never appreciated my previous presidents like i should have. Thank goodness i am still able to work part time because that has definitely kept me sane. Owen and Hal keep both of us so busy! They are growing up so fast! We just LOVE them! Life is busy but it has been so rewarding! I wanted to post pictures but my computer for some reason won't upload them so hopefully this week i can find some time to do it!

Hallie's Shiner

Hallie was outside walking towards our front steps and she suddenly tripped and her head hit the cement step before she could brace herself. I took her to the instacare and they told me to go to the E.R., but i wasn't sure i wanted to do that so i made an appointment with her primary care doc and after a lot of adrenaline, running around, and a long night we go her taken care of. We had to get her up every hour..... Luckily she is recovering.. with a HUGE goose egg!

G & G Walker's House

Hal wasn't too sure what to think of the Popsicle. I think it was a little cold on her teeth!


Owen just loved seeing the chickens and horses, but he got a little freaked when Grandma Walker took him in to collect the eggs.




Owen LOVED the raspberry patch! He would shove them in his mouth as fast as we could pick them. Hallie of course didn't turn down the raspberries... She doesn't turn down any food!

Fourth of July

4th of July was a ton of fun! Saturday we went to Carrie Underwood and it was SO much fun!! Sunday, Chance was blessed and it was so nice. Daren did such a good job! That night we at dinner, roasted marshmallows, and did some fireworks! Monday, we played a Deru softball game. It was fun to see everyone who was able to make it!

California/Birthday

While we were at City Walk, DJ came out of the bathroom and said, "I just saw Jesus.." I said WHAT? He goes on to say there was a guy dressed up like Jesus. Later that night we saw this guy again and jokingly i said, "What if that really was?"... and right as i said that, the guys turns around drinking a coffee..HA! Then DJ says,"Well if it was Jesus then he doesn't wash his hands in the bathroom!" Sick!


DJ spoiled me for my birthday this year! He was trying to surprise me with the whole California trip...(I accidentally found out) but it was still so fun! Our friends, Jamie and Mandy came with us! We went to Disneyland and California Adventure on Thursday. We were planning on doing two days there, but the parks were absolutely dead so we able to do all the rides and some twice and ended up not needing a second day. Friday we went to Magic Mountain! That was a blast also! After Magic Mountain we headed over to City Walk and ate dinner. Then Saturday we went to Venice Beach and went to the Dodgers game that night!!!
It was such a fun get away! Both of our Moms were so GREAT to take the kids so we could go and enjoy ourselves! Mandy's parents were so awesome to let us stay at their house! We had so much fun and it was so good to get back to see Owen and Hallie! Thanks DJ!!!

St. Patrick's Day

When i was little i would always look forward to St. Patrick's Day! My mom would always make a green breakfast or dinner, which i always loved! When would wake up there would be green footprints all over the house. I was convinced that the "REAL" leprechaun had been to our house. Along the path of footprints, there would be green treats hidden. The kids loved looking for them! I guess the leprechaun found Grandma's house again!
