Dinner, Concert, & Temple Square!

Last weekend my parents took DJ's parents and us to dinner at Red Iguana and then we went to the Kurt Bestor Christmas concert! Before the concert we had a couple minutes to walk over to Temple Square and take a few pictures and enjoy the lights....(for about 5 minutes, thanks to my dad). He was getting stressed out that we would be late for the concert but luckily we still made it back with plenty of time! We missed Daren and Allie! Hopefully next year you won't get sick!

A little update!

To say the least Owen is in to everything. He is so so so busy! Everyday he does something to surprise me. He mastered crawling and sitting up in October(i never thought that would happen since all he would do is lay or stand). In the last four weeks things have definitely changed. He got 2 teeth, learned open every cupboard, walk along the furniture, climb the stairs....my life seems to be constantly grabbing him away from doing whatever he has been doing.
We decided it was time for a new toy since he doesn't have anything extremely fun. Lets be honest he doesn't ever want his toys, he only wants what he can't have!


We are finishing the basement!!! So this whole project started when i decided that i wanted a salon in the basement so i can start working from home! Here is the very beginning stage. As of yesterday the framing, plumbing, electric, and the drywall is up! A couple more weeks and it will be finished!!!!

Frightmares!!!!

Last weekend we went to Frightmares. It was so much fun! The crazy thing is that hardly anyone was there. Most of the rides we walked on. We went on the tidalwave and since no one was in line the ride kept going and going and going until finally someone saved us by getting in line! We went with our friends BJ and Amanda. Last Sunday we took a walk up Provo Canyon to enjoy the fall leafs. While we were walking Justin almost stepped on this huge spider. Isn't it nasty? I was to scared to take the picture because i did not want to get that close to it!

Today i was getting ready for the day, so i set some toys on the floor outside the bathroom for owen to play with. I periodically check on him. Well i went to check on him and i couldn't see him but i could hear him. He has started to crawl but he isn't very fast so i knew he couldn't have went to far. I looked around my room and what do you know.....i found him underneath the bed, but the bed skirt was down so he was completely hiding from me!

Phase one- Bedroom

Ever since we moved into our new house, I have been begging DJ to let me paint and decorate. Its about time that i decorate and have pride in our house. I just hated decorating our rentals. Last week my mom and I painted my room and today our bedroom furniture was delivered. So here are a few pictures!

Going to the Football Game

If your wondering what is all over Owen...Yes it is chunky spit up! Doesn't he look so proud of himself? Good thing i was about ready to get him in the bath. This is a everyday thing for him, but since it was one of the worst, i thought i better get a picture of it.

Last week i decided to feed owen rice cereal. At first he was not to sure about it, but after a couple more tries, he has learned to love it!
